Join the fun!
Cass Community Health Foundation’s 24th Annual 5K for Health is a fun way for Cass County and the surrounding areas to empower the community through improved health. The 5K promotes health and wellness and is a great way for friends, families and coworkers to join together to raise funds for college scholarships and dental services for low-income children. Hundreds of walkers and runners will enjoy a morning celebration complete with food provided by Cosentino's Price Chopper, music, prizes and a health fair sponsored by Belton Regional Medical Center with fun activities for the entire family!
Why walk or run?
Cass Community Health Foundation’s Cass County Dental Clinic is the community’s only nonprofit dental clinic, providing comprehensive dental care to children who would otherwise not have access. The clinic, with locations in both Belton and Harrisonville, serves patients from birth through age 20 who are insured by Missouri Medicaid or are uninsured and low-income. In 2017, the Clinic cared for 3,516 children and teens. Event proceeds also support college scholarships for area high school seniors who are pursuing a career in nursing or health care. A total of 24 scholarships were awarded in 2017.
