Resolve to be well!

Instead of making a list of resolutions, consider choosing a single word to guide you through the new year. Choose just one word to focus on an idea that will guide you through the year. Post it several places so you will see it throughout the day - write it on the bathroom mirror, post a note on your steering wheel, create a screensaver, write it on the cover of your notebook, make it your hashtag. What will your word be?

  • Thrive
  • Acceptance
  • Adapt
  • Simple
  • Grow
  • Learn

Any of these words may work for you, but we would like to suggest another--wellness!

The National Wellness Institute defines wellness as “a conscious, self-directed, and evolving process of achieving full potential.” So, what does that mean? It means wellness is more than just not being sick. It is about making decisions that help you be the best that you can be! There are 8 types of wellness:

  • Physical
  • Social
  • Spiritual
  • Environmental
  • Emotional
  • Intellectual
  • Occupational
  • Financial
