Cass Community Health Foundation celebrates board member’s service

GRANDVIEW, Mo., (Oct. 3, 2016) – Ken Cox, longtime Grandview resident and community volunteer, is retiring from nearly 20 years of service on the Cass Community Health Foundation (CCHF) board of directors.

Cox joined the CCHF board in 1997 when the Foundation was known as Research Belton Hospital Foundation. He volunteered his time during CCHF’s free dental screening program each year he was a board member and has participated in the annual Walk for Health since its establishment, chairing the event in 1998 and 1999.

CCHF honored Cox’s service by dedicating a brick in the tribute garden located on the Belton Regional Medical Center campus in his name. Cox continues to volunteer at Belton Regional Medical Center.

“We are so appreciative of Ken’s dedication to Cass Community Health Foundation,” Cynthia Randazzo, CCHF president, said. “He has been a reliable and trusted friend to us for two decades. His consistent contributions at our dental screenings and annual Walk for Health have been a tremendous help in developing those programs. We will forever be grateful for his service.”
