
BELTON, Mo., (Feb. 10, 2025) – Cass Community Health Foundation is offering dog registration at the 31st Annual 5K for Health. The event will take place on Saturday, May 3, at Southwick Stadium in Belton, Missouri, and will help raise funds for the foundation’s safety net dental clinic, Cass County Dental Clinic.
Registration for the 5K is $40 per person. All participants can register their dog for $15. Dog registration comes with a free dog bandana at packet pick up and dog treats at the finish line. Dogs are encouraged to wear their bandanas at the event. The 5K will start and finish at Southwick Stadium, taking participants on a loop around Cleveland Lake. Day-of registration opens at 7:30 a.m., with the race kicking off at 8 a.m. Refreshments will be offered to dogs at the rest stops along the course, and vendors for dogs and dog lovers will be available at the 5K Health Fair following the race.
Along with registering dogs, walkers and runners are invited to form teams with friends, family, coworkers, or neighbors. Every participant will receive the official 31st Annual 5K for Health t-shirt and a numbered bib. Extra prizes will be given to those who raise $150 or more. Following the 5K, all participants are invited to enjoy all-you-can-eat Chris Cakes, the 5K Health Fair, music, and raffle prizes.
All registration fees and donations for the 5K will go toward supporting the children and teens served by Cass County Dental Clinic. The clinic has locations in Belton and Harrisonville, Missouri, and provides dental care to children and teens ages 0-20 who otherwise couldn't access quality dental services.
