History
Cass Community Health Foundation was first established as Research Belton Hospital Foundation in 1984 to help raise funds to support a broad array of essential hospital services for Research Belton Hospital. Research Belton Hospital Foundation raised charitable contributions to help assist in the delivery of outstanding patient care to residents of Cass County, Missouri for nearly 20 years.
With the purchase of Research Belton Hospital in 2003 by HCA, a for-profit health care company, Research Belton Hospital Foundation concluded its affiliation with Research Belton Hospital. While no longer affiliated with Research Belton Hospital, the Foundation's focus is to empower the community though improved health.
In 2012, Research Belton Foundation changed its name to Cass Community Health Foundation. The name now reflects all constituencies that it serves.
