BELTON, Mo., (Feb. 13, 2025) – Cass Community Health Foundation has received a $10,000 donation from Downtown Belton Main Street for the new Cass County Dental Clinic in Belton, Missouri. The donation will expand access to dental care for underserved youth and their families in Cass County and the surrounding area.
Cass Community Health Foundation opened Cass County Dental Clinic in Belton, Missouri in 2011 to provide comprehensive oral health services for children and teens who are insured by Medicaid or who are uninsured and from disadvantaged backgrounds. In 2024, Cass Community Health Foundation launched a capital campaign, A Lifetime of Smiles, and broke ground for the clinic’s future home at 1000 E. Markey Parkway in Belton, Missouri. This location will increase clinical space and access for quality, compassionate dental care.
Downtown Belton Main Street promotes a diverse central business district that serves the community's needs through community education and awareness, utilization of business resources, continuity of design, preservation of historic resources and the continued growth of "Old Town" Belton and the surrounding neighborhood.
“Downtown Belton Main Street has provided charitable support to Cass Community Health Foundation for several years. We're grateful they have decided to support our capital campaign,” said Cynthia Randazzo, Cass Community Health Foundation president and CEO. “Their gift will allow us to expand our services, provide better access to dental care, and, most importantly, create more smiles. Thanks to their generosity, we're one step closer to the new Cass County Dental Clinic.”
