BELTON, Mo., (Dec. 16, 2024) – Cass County, Grandview, and surrounding area businesses are invited to sponsor Cass Community Health Foundation’s 31st Annual 5K for Health. The 5K for Health will be Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Southwick Stadium in Belton, Missouri. The event will raise money for the foundation’s safety net dental clinic, Cass County Dental Clinic, which serves children and teens in the area. The clinic operates in two locations, Belton and Harrisonville, Missouri. Children aged 0-20 who otherwise couldn’t afford quality dental care are treated at the clinic.

Cass Community Health Foundation hopes to raise $100,000 for Cass County Dental Clinic through the 5K for Health. To help meet that goal, businesses, organizations, and individuals can purchase sponsorships ranging from $350 to $4,500. Sponsorships come with a wide variety of marketing benefits to increase visibility of community businesses.

“Our 5K for Health is an opportunity for local businesses to make a tangible impact on children in our community," said Cynthia Randazzo, President of Cass Community Health Foundation. "By sponsoring this event, businesses directly support access to quality dental care for kids who need it most, while also showcasing their commitment to the health and well-being of our community."

Sponsors can enhance their involvement by forming teams and registering employees for a $40 fee. Each participant receives the official 31st Annual 5K for Health t-shirt and a numbered bib. Those raising $150 or more will be eligible for additional prizes. After the 5K, participants can enjoy all-you-can-eat Chris Cakes, the 5K Health Fair, music, and raffle prizes.

Sandy Kessinger of Country Club Bank in Belton will chair the 5K and Teresa Deaton of American Family Insurance in Belton will co-chair.
