BELTON, Mo., (Feb. 9, 2026) – Cass Community Health Foundation invites walkers, runners, and their four-legged friends to take part in the 32nd Annual 5K for Health on Saturday, May 2, at Southwick Stadium in Belton, Missouri. This family and dog-friendly event raises vital funds for the foundation’s safety-net dental clinic, Cass County Dental Clinic.
Registration for the 5K is $40 per person, and participants may register their dog for an additional $15 donation. Dogs who are registered will receive a free bandana at packet pick up which they are encouraged to sport during the race and will be offered treats at the finish line. The course begins and ends at Southwick Stadium and loops around scenic Cleveland Lake. Day-of registration opens at 7:30 a.m., with the race starting at 8 a.m. Dogs will have access to refreshments at rest stops along the route, and dog-focused vendors will be featured at the 5K Health Fair following the race.
Participants are also encouraged to form teams with friends, family, coworkers, or neighbors. Every registered walker and runner will receive an official 32nd Annual 5K for Health t-shirt and a numbered race bib, with extra prizes awarded to those who raise $150 or more. After crossing the finish line, participants can enjoy all-you-can-eat Chris Cakes, music, raffle prizes, and the 5K Health Fair.
All registration fees and donations directly support families served by Cass County Dental Clinic. With locations in Belton and Harrisonville, Missouri, the clinic provides essential dental care to children and teens ages 0–20 and pregnant people who might not otherwise have access to quality dental services. In 2026, the clinic expanded its services to also care for the adult family members of current patients as well as current and previous patients over the age of 20.
