BELTON, Mo., (Mar. 24, 2026) – Cass Community Health Foundation is calling on community members, families, and local businesses to come together for a meaningful cause at the upcoming 32nd Annual 5K for Health. This year, the foundation has set an ambitious goal to raise $105,000 to support its safety net dental clinic, Cass County Dental Clinic. The clinic provides access to dental care for families across Cass County.

The 5K for Health takes place at 8 a.m. on Saturday, May 2 at Southwick Stadium in Belton. Community members of all ages and fitness levels are invited to walk or run in support of a healthier community by registering at casscommunityhealth.org/5k. Registration is $40 and includes an official 5K for Health t-shirt and access to the 5K Health Fair, featuring music, raffle prizes, all-you-can-eat Chris Cakes, and vendors offering giveaways. Participants can also register their dogs for $15, which includes a complimentary dog bandana and treats.

“Every step taken and every dollar raised helps ensure our neighbors have access to critical oral health care,” Cynthia Randazzo, Cass Community Health Foundation president and CEO said. “We’re proud to bring the community together for such an important cause.”

After registering, participants are encouraged to invite family and friends to join them by signing up to walk or run, or by supporting their efforts with a donation to their personal fundraising page. Participants who raise $150 or more will be eligible to receive special prizes.
