BELTON, Mo., (Sept. 21, 2026) – Cass Community Health Foundation invites the community to lace up their running and walking shoes for the 33rd Annual 5K for Health on Saturday, May 1, 2027, at Southwick Stadium in Belton, Missouri.
The annual event registers 400 community members and aims to raise $105,000 to support patients at Cass County Dental Clinic, Cass Community Health Foundation’s safety-net dental clinic. The clinic provides essential dental care to thousands of underserved families each year at locations in Belton and Harrisonville.
Registration is now open, with a fee of $40 per participant. Registration includes an official 33rd Annual 5K for Health T-shirt, access to event vendors and giveaways, and all-you-can-eat Chris Cakes. Participants who raise $150 or more will also be eligible for additional prizes.
Walkers and runners are encouraged to form fundraising teams with family members, friends or coworkers to help support Cass County Dental Clinic. Participants can also register their dogs for free.
“The 5K for Health is an opportunity for our community to come together to ensure families in Cass County have access to the dental care they need and deserve,” said Cynthia Randazzo, president and CEO of Cass Community Health Foundation. “Every step and every dollar raised helps sustain Cass County Dental Clinic.”
Kelly Crumley, director of student services for Belton School District #124, will serve as chair of the 5K for Health, with Alissa Beckerle, clinical education manager at Hu-Friedy, serving as co-chair.
The 5K begins and ends at Southwick Stadium and follows a course around Cleveland Lake. Day-of registration begins at 7:15 a.m., and the race starts at 8 a.m.
