At Cass County Dental Clinic, we believe every smile tells a story — and Jaziel and Genesis’s journey is one we’re proud to be part of.
Jaziel, a 12-year-old from Belton, has been visiting our clinic since 2014. His 8-year-old sister, Genesis, joined as a patient in 2018, making the Cruz Trejos longtime members of our dental family. After their older siblings were introduced to Cass County Dental Clinic through Cass Community Health Foundation’s school-based dental screening program, they both regularly receive care at our Belton location, now at the brand-new facility at 1000 Markey Parkway.
We sat down with their mom, Justina, who shared how the clinic has made a real difference. “The service is very good,” she said. “Everyone is always so nice and helpful, and I love that they take Medicaid. They answer all my questions — I feel very calm and supported here.”
Jaziel and Genesis have shown incredible growth over the years. Each treatment visit has brought improvement — and today, their oral hygiene is better than ever. “They’ve really learned to follow directions and be responsible,” Justina shared. “They always brush now!”
The Cruz Trejo family represents the heart of the community we serve. As a Spanish-speaking family, their experience helps highlight the importance of inclusive, accessible care for all.
Cass County Dental Clinic has prioritized expanding accessible dental care with the opening of a state-of-the-art dental clinic in Belton. The new clinic is a $5 million project. While our doors are open and we're actively treating Jaziel, Genesis, and other patients, the campaign to fully fund this critical project is still ongoing. Your support can help us continue delivering a lifetime of healthy smiles. Join us in building a future of better oral health.
